Lori Evans – Executive Director
Mrs. Evans is very goal-oriented, quality-driven, and an extreme visionary with strategic alliance and negotiation capabilities. Relevant expertise includes over twenty years of marketing, project management, program and revenue development, and research and evaluation. As an employee, a consultant, and an entrepreneur, her roles have ranged from product development, project management, and business start-up to internet marketing, direct sales, and fundraising including grant development.
As a researcher for a large urban school district, concentrations included educational reform, performance management, community and family engagement, social & emotional learning, community participatory research, and educational leadership. As a developer she raised over $15 million dollars annually to support educational reform and health and human services and co-designed the Council for Educational Equity & Inclusion and the Social & Emotional Learning pilot.
As a certified facilitator she is instrumental in bringing diverse partnership together to align goals and objectives and create and test solid developmental designs and teambuilding for systemic change. These models include the development of Wellbeing Advisory Teams, Community Council of Wellbeing, Resiliency Action Teams, and Collaborative Leadership.
Lori’s current position as Executive Director of ERCEGI has given her great insight into educational practices, community networking, and needs analysis as well as the skills necessary to aid in the development and sustainability of new programs. Through ERCEGI, Mrs. Evans has been creating supplemental tools and methodologies in addition to convening key stakeholders and building partnerships and alliances to advance youth and community resiliency.

Lisa Frisby – Resource Developer
Lisa Frisby has been with ERCEGI since 2008. Lisa spent four years in the school setting, at the district office and out in the schools. With 6 years as PTA president and 3 as a reading tutor Mrs. Frisby has a keen understanding of the learning environment as well as the connection to the family unit. Similarly she has over one year experience with a nonprofit organization around afterschool and summer camp programs. Lisa back ground includes event planning, resource acquisition, and internship coordination. Lisa is a Certified Volunteer Coordinator, has experience as a personal assistant, office manager, and technology coordinator. With a background in public relations, business development, marketing and communications, she is an invaluable asset to ERCEGI.

Amy Larkin – Director, Communications
Amy Larkin has over 25 years of experience working in a variety of environments to expand organizational capacity and achieve solution superiority. During that time, she has received national recognition as a top producer and implementer of best practices that generate sustained value for companies such as IBM, Eastman Kodak and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida. Mrs. Larkin has served in the non-profit sector as well. She has held positions in Curriculum, Program and Product Development, Marketing and Consumer Education, Public Relations and Communications. In addition for her professional background, Amy holds Master and Bachelor degrees from Vanderbilt University. Her areas of expertise include: identifying and implementing change; researching, analyzing and integrating complex processes; building consensus to advance key initiatives; building innovative responses to critical consumer demands; and planning and implementing events.

Angel Dean – Director, Research & Development
Angel Dean holds a bachelor’s degree in English Education, as well as a master’s in Humanities with a minor in College Teaching. Her informal education training consists of several independent studies and online workshops in Geospatial Technology & Scientific Visualization, Nonprofit Organizational Structure and Compliance, The Project Management Model, Service-Learning for At-risk Youths, Grants Development, Survey and Assessment Design, Social and Environmental Health Impact Studies, Strategies for Effective Leadership, Strategies for Engaging Parents in Education.
Angel has been teaching and designing curriculum for over twenty years and has taught grades 6-12, the collegiate level, and various workshops for adult learners. Her experience also includes serving as an Office Manager for American Financial Advisors where she gained significant experience planning strategies, managing technological systems, and creating successful workflow and marketing processes; she has also served as a grant writer for the Schultz Center for Teaching & Leadership and other nonprofits as an independent contractor. Her vast array of positions has provided her with great insight into formal and informal educational needs at many levels and given her the leadership opportunities to cultivate managerial, research, and development skills in and out of the educational arena.
She has a driving desire to be involved in projects that promote education beyond the traditional classroom yet embraces the “old-fashion” goals of ethical contemplation and civic duty. Angel is a very innovative thinker, highly organized project manager, and an energetic leader who believes in working with a team not over it. She is currently contracted as an adjunct instructor at Jacksonville University and as the Director of Research & Development for ERCEGI, Inc., a local nonprofit whose primary focus is on advancing youth and community resiliency through partnerships that promote wellbeing and balance in seven key areas.
