I.  Partners:United Way of Northeast Florida; Duval County Public Schools; The Community Foundation of Jacksonville; and the Jacksonville Children’s Commission
II.  Key Vendors:
Nonprofit Center of Jacksonville; Health-Tech Consultants, Inc.; ERCEGI, Inc.

III.  Mission:  Improve the academic success of students in the 32211 area by cultivating partnerships and building the capacity of nonprofits and faithbased organizations who provide services to students and their families in that geographic region; thus promoting resilient assets1 among home, school, and community environments.

IV.  Goals

A.  Strengthen the organizational foundation of nonprofit/faithbased organizations in the 32211 area

1.  Conduct Nonprofit Assessment
2.  Administer workshops in Leadership Development, Organizational Development, Program Development, Revenue Development, and Community Engagement
3.  Facilitate one-to-one Coaching in the 5 key area
4.  Provide current, reliable data concerning assets and needs in the schools and community at large.
     a.  Data Collection from existing sources into one report (i.e. U.S. Census, DCHD, JSO, FL DOE, participating CZ partners and organizations and others in the area)
     b.  Data Collection from primary sources (i.e. Community Assessment Survey, canvassing activities, focus groups)
     c.   Hybrid Data Collection (i.e. Comprehensive School Assessment)

5.  Establish community collaborations and lines of communication.
     a.   Family School and Community Partnerships (FSCPs) Workshops
     b.  Action Plans
B.  Create sustainable and effective FSCPs to ensure community resilient assets that will provide a support net for students in the area and lead to improved academic success.

1.  Provide opportunities for practical applications regarding collaborations and partnerships.
     a.   Promote Community Assets Campaign
     b.   Small Things Make a Big Difference Campaign
2.  Establish lines of communications
     a.  Community Website (GIS Mapping, Blogs, Calendar, etc.)
